Paneer Stuffed broken wheat koftas in Shahi Curry

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups boiled broken wheat (daliya)


  • 1 cups boiled potatoes


  • 1/2 cups paneer


  • 3 tbsp chopped onions


  • 1 tbsp corn flour


  • 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste


  • 1 pinch black pepper


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 pinch salt to taste


  • 1 tbsp freshly cfreshly chopped coriander leaveshopped coriander leaves


  • 10-12 nos raisins


  • 500 gms chopped tomatoes


  • 1 nos choped onion


  • 1/4 nos cashewnuts


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 2 tbsp butter


  • 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste


  • 1 cups milk for gravy


  • 1/4 cups milk for blending


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup


  • 1 pinch salt to taste

Directions

  • For making koftas : In a bowl add boiled broken wheat and mashed potatoes
  • Add freshly chopped coriander leaves and chopped onion
  • Add ginger and garlic paste
  • Add salt and red chilli powder
  • Add corn flour and mix nicely and keep aside.
  • In a plate crumble paneer and add little salt and black pepper and few raisins
  • Mix nicely and make small balls
  • Make small balls from broken wheat mixture and flatten them
  • Place a paneer ball in the centre
  • Cover and make a ball
  • In a pan add 1 tbsp oil and shallow fry the koftas Flip the sides and fry nicely till golden brown in colour and keep aside.
  • For the Shahi Curry : Heat oil and add onion and sauté until translucent.
  • Add ginger and garlic paste and sauté for 2 minutes Add chopped tomatoes and sauté until they turn soft
  • Add cashewnuts and cover and cook on low heat until oil separates
  • Allow the masala to cool and add to a mixer jar
  • Add ¼ cup milk and blend into a smooth paste Melt butter and add the ready masala paste and cook on low heat
  • Add 1 cup milk little by little and continue to stir on low heat
  • Add 1 tbsp tomato ketchup and mix nicely
  • Add red chilli powder and kitchen king masala powder and mix
  • Add salt and cook for 2-3 mins
  • Put shahi Curry in the serving bowl and place koftas in it and serve hot with rice or paranthas
